Mugs, bowls and vases, made by hand in my garage studio.

Everything here is thrown, trimmed and glazed by me, a few dozen pieces at a time. When a batch is gone, it's gone.

How it's made

From clay to kiln

Every piece takes about three weeks, mostly waiting for it to dry.

  1. Hands throwing clay on the wheel

    Throw

    Shaped on the wheel from a pound of stoneware.

  2. Trimming a pot with a wooden tool

    Trim

    Once it's leather-hard, the foot and handle go on.

  3. Bowls of mixed glazes on a table

    Glaze

    Dipped by hand in glazes I mix myself.

  4. Shelves of finished pieces

    Fire

    Two firings, the last one at about 2,200°F.

Dishwasher and microwave safe
Everything glazed is food safe and holds up to daily use.
Shipping
Packed in recycled paper and sent within 5 days.
Local pickup
Free pickup from the studio on Saturday mornings.
